The Restaurant at the Holbrooke

The Restaurant at the Holbrooke features a cheerful, sunlit view of Main Street. With historic appointments reminiscent of the exciting days of the Gold Rush, the Restaurant remains casual enough for intimate café dining or celebrating special occasions.

Chef Jered Gettler, a long time member of the Holbrooke family, brings his passion for fine cuisine to every meal served in the Holbrooke’s Restaurant Dining Room. The fare ranges from Jered’s original California Eclectic to Gold Country Comfort styles and is sure to please everyone’s taste.

The Holbrooke Restaurant’s Art Series

A cocktail party on Tuesday, February 5th marked the opening of The Holbrooke Restaurant’s Art Series – and the restaurant’s historic brick and stone walls featured a variety of colorful, very special paintings. Restaurant guests will enjoy artwork from a different artist each month.

The styles will vary dramatically, but each artist is recognized as one of Nevada County’s finest. Artwork at the Holbrooke Restaurant is open for public viewing daily during dining hours and further details will be released monthly, prior to each new display.

April’s featured artist is Thomas E Devine. In this picture the artist explains his techniques for capturing natural landscapes, his specialty, on an oil canvas. Mr Devine works with many mediums including oils, watercolor, graphite and pastels.

Dining Room Hours

Lunch is served daily from 11:30am until 2:00pm

Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 till 9:00

On Sunday and Monday the Saloon Menu is available in the Dining Room from 2:00 until 8:30
